PFF President to attend FIFA Congress
Pakistan Football Federation’s President Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat will be attending 60th FIFA Congress in Johannesburg from 9-10 June 2010 along with his another 207 compatriots.
FIFA congress which is also knows as International Football’s Parliament, is the largest off-field event in the world of football. And it will be the seventh time Faisal Saleh represent Pakistan after taking the hot seat in August 2003. We have seen great development under his reign and his main focus has always been on grass route level. It was He, who won the vote of confidence from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and has been seen as close friend of AFC President Mohammed Bin Hammam, during last AFC elections. It was Faisal Saleh Hayat who gave a crucial vote to Hammam to elect him AFC president for next term.
We at Football De Pakistan wish him luck for the congress meeting.
