Pakistan Premier Football League 2010: Manager Meet at FIFA House
The auditorium of Lahore’s FIFA House on Ferozpur Road will host the Manager Meeting on Tuesday, 17 August 2010 at 11.30 AM. Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has called Team Managers of the 16 A-Division football teams that will show their status in marathon Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) 2010 slated to commence after Eid ul Fitr.
The Managers will figure in a Meet which will be held to discuss various technical matters such as match formats and fixtures, team colour for the particular match as well as refereeing. The format of coming competition and Ground booking and match arrangement of host team will also come into view.
Pakistan Football Federation (PFF)'s President Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat had asked PFF Operation Wing to evaluate the inadequacy that happened in the previous editions and try to impose ways and means to make the coming show-piece event of PFF clear of any hurdles and discrepancies during 240 matches.
Faisal Saleh Hayat had already approved sixteen teams who will appear in PPFL 2010 and, based on the performance, all 14 participants of PPFL 2009 and top two teams of PFF League 2009 entered the showpiece event of PFF. The draws of the PFF's blue riband event will be issued to participating teams and technical officials in last week of Ramzan Ul Mubarak. The winner of PPFL 2010 will earn the rights to play in 7th AFC President's Cup 2011.
The Football team managers of Khan Research Laboratories (KRL), Karachi Port Trust (KPT), Pakistan Army, Pakistan WAPDA, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Pakistan Navy, Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC), Habib Bank Limited (HBL), Chaman's Afghan Club, PMC Athletico Club Faisalabad, Lahore's Pak Elektron Limited (PEL), Nushki’s Baloch FC, Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Sui Southern Gas Company and Sahiwal’s Young Blood FC are being asked to attend 17th August Meet up.
